California Academy of Science and the
de Young Museum

Two world-class attractions sitting side by side in Golden Gate Park. The Academy packs a living rainforest, aquarium, and planetarium under one roof, while the de Young serves up stunning art and even better views from its observation tower. You could easily spend a full day between the two.

Golden Gate Park
and Japanese Tea Garden

One of the greatest urban parks in the world, Golden Gate Park is perfect for a leisurely stroll, a bike ride, or just soaking in that iconic San Francisco air. Don't miss the Japanese Tea Garden, a peaceful little slice of zen that's been there since 1894.

Izakaya Rintaro

One of Maisie and Lovejit's personal favorites, Rintaro is an Izakaya gem in the Mission serving up beautiful Japanese soul food in the most charming setting. Just make sure you book ahead, reservations are a must.
